Norton has a book on this subject, but I have no idea of it's quality. If you're into networking and the server side of things, try Mark Minasi's Mastering Windows NT Server 4. The initial developer support for Windows NT has been phenomenal--developers have demonstrated more than 50 Windows NT applications only months after receiving the pre-release version of the s:

The key word in the title is "Supporting" and not "Administering" Windows NT/ As I also say in the introduction, the book covers "the day-to-day operation of supporting users in a Windows NT environment" (which also applies to Windows )/5.

From timing Windows upgrades for minimum disruption, to establishing efficient intranet content development processes, Supporting Windows NT &Workstation and Server will make you dramatically more effective as a Windows support professional. It's like having a world-class Windows administrator as your personal consultant!3/5(3).

Windows NT Server was introduced in August ofthe final successor in the Windows NT line which was launched with NT in July of I have a workgroup consisting of three NT machines, one Win 7 machine and now a WIN 10 machine.

The WIN 7 machine can see all machines on the network. The NT machines can see all machines except the WIN 10 PC. The WIN 10 PC can only see the WIN 7 machine. How can I get all machines to see each other. Wow. Windows NT. what a blast from the past. NOTE: HPFS is only supported under Windows NT versions, and Windows NT does not support and cannot access HPFS partitions.

Also, the FAT32 file system is only supported in the Windows 98/95 and Windows Windows NT Workstation — Designed for general-purpose business computing on a desktop workstation, it contained the first release of TAPI on Windows NT.
